Ecogent supplied design services, subsurface drip irrigation and associated components for the Pauanui effluent land disposal system. The land disposal system is relatively unique in that it is one of the largest land effluent disposal systems utilising subsurface drip irrigation in NZ. It features disposal underneath a public reserve, landscaped traffic islands within the main road and beneath a operational airstrip. The system is consented for up to 5000m3/day but the land disposal system was designed for future flows of up to 20000m3/day. More details coming soon…
